Now Sprouting In Culver City
From the Chaya Family of Restaurants

M Café de Chaya

(Los Angeles, CA.) From the Chaya family of restaurants, M Café de Chaya is set to open its second location at 9343 Culver Boulevard, in the heart of downtown Culver City. This newest addition to the M Café group arrives on the heels of almost two years of unbridled success at the original Melrose Avenue location, a success that continues to enjoy the loyalty of an industry and celebrity clientele unsurpassed in the LA dining public. Chaya Executive Chef Tachibe has once again consulted with Chef Lee Gross (former private Chef for Gwyneth Paltrow), expanding upon the offerings of the original location. Based upon a loose interpretation of Macrobiotic principles, the chefs of M Café have gone to great lengths to build their menu around textures and flavors that are familiar, comfortable, and delicious. M Café offers a wide range of soups, salads, sandwiches, and sweets, all produced without refined sugar, dairy products, or egg. Additions to the menu include new savory “pasta” dishes, as well as a selection of M Latos. M Café Pastry Chef Ivy Haaks provides a full range of breakfast pastries, scones, and muffins for the morning commute, as well as a full complement of sweets, from a shockingly delicious chocolate cake to acclaimed chocolate puddings…desserts arrive in every imaginable form, each re-imagined, however, without the use of refined sugar. Both lunch and dinner will be available in the casual, bistro-style café, or as quick “Grab and Go” take out, including an assortment of popular pressed panino sandwiches, the Melrose Muffelata, ‘The Big Macro,’ house made soups and salads, and a selection of organic, brown rice sushi rolls.
